After we got out of the Phoenix area we began to notice so many of the Saguaro cacti had their blossoms. Stopped along the highway to snap a couple of shots. Later in the year the Indians harvest the fruit and make jams and syrup. Yum.

We've never seen the saguarro blooming that way, just with intermittent blossoms in places. We will enjoy the reviews of all the places we have been. I hadn't looked at blog until now. 1:25 pm. Sun.5/18/08.You were in Mt. Pleasant. How did you like the road up there by Price and Helper? You don't see that every day. Lorna
